Fantails Garden Furniture is an established outdoor furniture manufacturer based on the south coast of the UK in Dorset. We have been making and selling our unique garden swing seats, Adirondack chairs and Adirondack benches for over 30 years. We are one the first companies in the U.K to sell the Adirondack style. We use materials sourced for suitability, durability and environmental sustainability. We are a family run business and design all of our own products.

We have chosen Canadian Western Red Cedar for its durability and naturally occurring oils. These oils are a naturally occurring fungicide which prevent rotting. The cedar also has a pleasing, aesthetic look, making it ideal for all outdoor use, including greenhouses, roof shingles, and cladding. We also use Treated European Redwood milled to our specifications and preserved under pressure. This increases the lifespan to over 15 years. Even our brass and stainless steel fixings have been chosen for outdoor use. All our timber is certified by FSC and PEFC. This means it comes from sustainable and well managed forests.

Our workshop is based on a small farm under the Purbeck hills, but despite our size, not only are we able to produce furniture to a very high standard, but we do so with the utmost focus on the needs of our customers. Each piece of wood is individually inspected for defects and flaws, ensuring our furniture is delivered to you in perfect condition. Our swing seats, Adirondack chairs, foot stools and tables will arrive part-assembled, the hard parts have been done, with easy to follow instructions and links to clear videos. We are always available if you have any questions.

You can view some of our garden furniture on display at Holme Nurseries in Wareham, the Old Piggery Garden Centre in Poole, and at our garden by prior appointment.
